The state is offering another round of auction for the Štiřín Chateau, located just 25 kilometres from Prague. Those interested in the property can take part in an electronic auction, which will start at 12:00 on 22 January and end 24 hours later, on 23 January at 12:00 Czech time. The starting price is CZK 1 445 000 000.
The 18th–century Baroque chateau is being offered including extensive grounds. The chateau complex offers accommodation in 64 hotel rooms, divided into five buildings. There are also two restaurants, a wine bar, a dining room, several social halls (for congresses or cultural events), facilities for sports and relaxation services.
