The Honorary Consulate will help Czech citizens both residing or visiting the state of Western Australia, provide assistance in consular agenda such as the verification of signatures and copies of documents, handing over passports, and provide consular assistance to Czech citizens in need. The Honorary Consulate will also represent the Czech Republic in the field of culture and business. It is closely linked to the Czech and local community in Melbourne and will cooperate with local authorities on all levels.

Mrs Jitka Smith, who lives in Perth, will be carrying out her duties as the new Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Perth for a term of 5 years.
