Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Czechoslovak Club in South Australia

On 27 October 2024, a celebration was held in Adelaide to mark the 75th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Club of South Australia.
The celebration was held at the club in Brompton, Adelaide, and was attended by over 80 guests from the local expatriate community. The opening ceremony was officiated by the President of the club, Mrs Ludmila Chludil. The celebration was attended by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Australia, Ms Jana Tyrer, the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Sydney, Ms Zuzana Slováková, as well as the Minister for Multicultural Affairs of South Australia, Ms Zoe Bettison MP.

The opening speeches were followed by a performance by children from the Czech school of the Czechoslovak Club of South Australia, under the direction of the teacher Michaela Svojšová from the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS), and by the club's choir. Marta and Matej Sutor performed an impressive violin program.
