The Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce was established during the celebrations of the 106th anniversary of the founding of the independent Czechoslovak state, in the presence of the Minister for European Affairs of the Czech Republic Martin Dvořák. The Chamber was established with the aim of serving as a bridge between the business sector and the government authorities of both countries and bringing together Czech and Bulgarian companies that are successfully developing business or have an interest in expanding business in both countries. In just one year of its existence, the Chamber already gathered more than 50 members.

The Czech Republic Embassy has supported the Chamber since its foundation and is actively involved in its activities.
