The topic of the meeting between the two officials was mutual cooperation in the field of defense. Both sides reaffirmed their strong bilateral relations in this area and, at the same time, confirmed their shared commitment to strengthening security within NATO and the EU. They discussed the possibilities for further deepening cooperation in developing defense capabilities, sharing experiences, and leveraging collaboration between industrial enterprises.

Ambassador Miroslav Toman confirmed that the Czech Republic is ready to deepen the partnership with Bulgaria and to support joint defense and security initiatives. Deputy Minister Gramatikova-Ivanova expressed her conviction that the active political dialogue and practical cooperation will continue in the interest of both countries.

Both sides agreed that the gradual development of their cooperation helps strengthen regional and Euro-Atlantic security and makes their joint efforts more effective.
