The main topic of conversation was the current migrant crisis, the forthcoming leave of the 7. and the coming of the 8. contingent of members of the Police of the Czech Republic that help their Macedonian colleagues in the protection of the state border and the preparation of the visit of the Czech Interior Minister Milan Chovanec.

Minister Nuhiu highly appreciated the material, personnel and financial help that the Czech Republic has so far provided to his country in the interest of coping with this extraordinary situation. The Ambassador informed him that a part of the visit of Minister Chovanec should entail an official handover of another important donation.

The Czech Republic has so far in Macedonia within the 7 contingents deployed 254 police officers and the total value of the provided material and financial help is more than 860 thousand euro.
