A Visit of the Committee on Security of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

On June 22, 2016 in Skopje a delegation of the Committee on Security of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic led by its chairman Ing. Roman Váňa had discussions with the Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, the MP group for cooperation with the Parliament of the Czech Republic and with representatives of the Ministry of Interior.
Among the main topics of the discussions were the migration crisis and the security aspects of the Macedonian internal political crisis. The hosts appreciated the broad support given by the Czech Republic to their country, and the Czech party pointed out the importance of the “solid and courageous Macedonian approach” in solving the migration crisis and promised to further the support of the Macedonian efforts of a fast accession to the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union.
