Macedonian-Czech Academic Conference held at UKIM

On June 15 and 16, 2017, International Slavonic Studies Symposium was held at the "Blaze Koneski" Faculty of Philology at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje
During the opening ceremony, Ambassador Miroslav Rames talked about the tradition of the Czech higher education from the founding of Charles University in 1348, some publications published in Macedonia dedicated to Czech history and culture, as well as the most important Czech and local Bohemians, among whom is prof. Donka Rous, winner of the Gratias Agit award.
Participants of the VII. Macedonian-Czech Academic Conferences, which was held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the opening of the Czech language courses at the UKIM, had the opportunity to hear a number of interesting contributions from Czech, Macedonian, Serbian and Slovenian Bohemists on the topic of language, literature and culture.
