Days of Czech Culture in Kumanovo

On 16.3.2017 the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Miroslav Rameš and the mayor of the city of Kumanovo Zoran Damjanovski at the gallery of the National Museum of Kumanovo officially opened the Days of Czech Culture.
Within this activity the exhibitions “UNESCO Memorials in the Czech Republic”, “Great Czechs by Little Czechs” and a selection of works from the Macedonian participants of the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts “Lidice” and the Czech participants of the International Children’s Art Competition “November 13.”
A part of the official opening was the presentation of the Czech films with Macedonian subtitles “Cyril and Methodius – Apostles of the Slavs.” The Czech language lector at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Zdeněk Andrle provided information regarding the possibilities of studying the Czech language and answered a number of questions regarding the realities of the Czech Republic.
