Webinar Supporting the Export of Czech Meat and Meat Products to Singapore

On 31 March 2026, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Singapore organized an online seminar aimed at supporting the export of Czech meat and meat products to Singapore. The event brought together Czech companies seeking certification to export beef and pork products to the Singaporean market, as well as seven Singaporean companies active in the meat trade sector. The objective of the webinar was to connect Czech producers with Singaporean business partners and to showcase the quality, diversity, and export potential of Czech meat products.

The webinar was opened by the Ambassador Dana Baschová, who greeted both Czech and Singaporean participants and expressed her wishes for successful future cooperation. This was followed by welcome remarks from Stanislav Němec, Director of the Department for EU Relations at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, who provided an update on the ongoing certification process. The introductory part of the programme also featured remarks by Kenny Toh, Director of the Singapore Meat Traders’ Association, and Radek Slanec, Director of the Czech Meat Processors Association (ČSZM), who introduced the association’s activities and its role in promoting international cooperation and supporting the development of the Czech meat industry.

The main part of the programme featured presentations by Czech companies Animalco (also representing Kostelecké Uzeniny and Krahulík), MP Krásno, RS MASO CZ, and Steinex. The companies showcased their broad portfolio of meat products, modern production technologies, high standards of quality and food safety, and their ability to respond to specific customer requirements. In addition to traditional products such as ham, salami, sausages, and smoked meats, the companies also presented specialised products intended for retail, food service, and the fast-food sector. The participating companies further highlighted their international market experience and the potential for expanding business cooperation with Singaporean partners.

The seminar was organised as part of the Embassy’s efforts to support the approval of the Czech application for the accreditation of beef, pork, and related meat products for import into Singapore. The Embassy also supported the participation of Czech companies at Food & Hospitality Asia, one of Asia’s leading food and beverage trade exhibitions.
