The evening was opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Singapore, Dana Baschová, who in her remarks highlighted the cultural heritage and tradition that the glassmaking industry represents for the Czech Republic. Czech glass is a symbol of craftsmanship, precision, and innovation, and Lasvit is one of the companies successfully bringing Czech design to the global stage. It is therefore fitting that the event took place in Singapore, a major hub of design and innovation in Asia, where Lasvit has already established a strong presence and an excellent reputation.

Lukáš Černý, Partner and General Manager of Lasvit for the APAC region, then presented selected projects and installations from around the world, illustrating the company’s ability to develop and execute creative and innovative solutions tailored to individual client needs. From traditional lighting fixtures to modern installations using new technologies, as well as glass walls and interactive objects responding to sound or light, these are all products that Lasvit designs and manufactures for hotels, public spaces, and private residences.

The event not only showcased Lasvit’s portfolio and its innovative approach to glassmaking but also contributed to raising awareness of Czech design and its international significance. It provided an opportunity to establish new contacts and opened prospects for further cooperation in the dynamic design and architectural environment of Singapore and the wider region.
