From 3 to 8 February 2026, the Czech Republic showcased its strong position and cutting‑edge technologies in the aerospace industry at the Singapore Airshow. This prestigious event is among the most significant aerospace exhibitions in the region, bringing leading international companies and key delegations from all over the world to Singapore every two years.
As part of the Czech official participation organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the CzechTrade agency, the national pavilion featured a selection of ten companies, including AERO Vodochody, Aircraft Industries, Omnipol Group, FlyinDiamonds, Helicopter Alliance, LPP Holding, LOM PRAHA, PBS Group, SPEEL PRAHA and VR Group. Omnipol Group, together with AERO Vodochody, Aircraft Industries, ERA and MESIT, also presented its own chalet, significantly increasing the visibility of Czech representation at the Airshow. The official Czech delegation was led by Radka Konderlová, Director General of the Industrial Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic
The 10th anniversary edition of the Singapore Airshow provided Czech companies with a platform to present a wide range of technologies and solutions offered by the domestic civil and military aviation industry – from MRO services and aircraft engines to avionics, unmanned systems, helicopters and pilot training. The Czech national pavilion was officially opened on the first day by the Czech Ambassador to Singapore Dana Baschová, Director General of the Industrial Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic Radka Konderlová, and Vice President of the Association of the Czech Aerospace Industry (ALPK) Martina Tauberová.
Throughout the exhibition, companies had the opportunity to connect with potential business partners, for example from Indonesia and Taiwan. The Czech pavilion attracted interest from foreign delegations representing armed forces as well as ministries of defence and transport. The Czech delegation welcomed representatives from Egypt, Israel, South Korea, Qatar, Laos, Malaysia and the United States, among others. The programme also included a tour of the pavilion of ST Engineering, Singapore’s largest defence company, which focuses on aerospace, smart city solutions, defence and public security. Afterwards, Czech companies had the opportunity to present their solutions to ST Engineering experts from the fields of civil and military aviation, avionics, aviation training and simulation, and unmanned systems.
The head of the official Czech delegation, Radka Konderlová, also held a number of bilateral meetings with international and local partners on the sidelines of the Singapore Airshow. In meetings with Chee Leung Yew, Singapore’s Permanent Secretary for Defence Technology, and Mervyn Tan, ST Engineering’s Chief Technology & Innovation Officer and President for Defence and Public Security, Director General Konderlová presented the strength of the Czech defence industry. The discussions confirmed the growing interest of both sides in deepening cooperation in the defence and aviation sectors.
