The Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs met his Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Maliki in Ramallah and visited the Gaza Strip as the first high Czech government representative. He has seen areas destroyed by the last conflict and met with UNRWA’s Director in Gaza, Mr Robert Turner to discuss the situation of refugees and UNRWA activities. His visit in Gaza was organized by UN OCHA whose officials accompanied minister and briefed him about humanitarian situation in the Strip.
