Participants were given “European food day passports” upon arrival, travelling with it from booth to booth and receiving a stamp in it for every dish they tried. Spanish paella to Romanian sarmale, French quiches or Hungarian goulash were among the many national foods and traditional snacks presented. The traditional Czech white soup kulajda, which was served at the Czech booth, was enjoyed by many and brought Czech flavours closer to the Palestinian public.
