Czech humanitarian aid for UNRWA

In November 2018, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs decided to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza in the amount of 3 million CZK. The Czech Republic supported a „Cash for Work“ programme of UNRWA, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, which provides job opportunities for vulnerable Palestinian refugees living in poverty. The Czech contribution will allow for employment of several hundreds of Palestinians for three months.
