The Hebron governorate represents the most populated part of the West Bank and is by far the largest contributor to Palestine’s GDP. At the same time, it is an industrial and manufacturing base, and the local business community is interested in contributing to increase bilateral trade with the Czech Republic. The Head of the Representative office agreed with the Chamber of Commerce management to cooperate actively in order to exploit this potential.

After the meeting at the Chamber of Commerce, the Head of the Representative Office visited Hebron Expo. It is a regularly held fair – every month is dedicated to a different sector – focused on professionals in the sector, and the only event of this kind in Palestine. Dozens of manufacturers and especially importers of cosmetics from all of the West Bank presented their goods at the July show.
