The Czech Republic Will Provide Medical Equipment to the Rehabilitation Hospital in Beit Jala

The head of the Representative Office of the Czech Republic and the general director of the Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR) signed an agreement on the implementation of a project, under which BASR will receive medical devices from Czech manufacturers. The donation will be implemented within the framework of the Reconstruction Program of the Czech Republic for the Middle East for the years 2022-2024. Most of the equipment will be provided for the Hospital's operating room. 

BASR is a not-for-profit organization with a sixty-year-old tradition which is located in the city of Beit Jala in the immediate vicinity of Bethlehem. The Czech Republic has already cooperated with the hospital in the past when it delivered equipment for the local physiotherapy department as a part of the Czech development aid program.
