The first one was built between 2011 and 2013 in the village Harilaci of Fushe Kosova near the capital city Pristina. Construction of the wastewater treatment plant was financed from the funds of the International Development Cooperation Program of the Czech Republic and Fushe Kosova municipality and the "Project Plus", a construction company from Kosovo, also participated in the building of this WWTP. The project was also accompanied by an extensive educational campaign focusing on water and the environment. Hundreds of primary school children in Harilaci got involved in this campaign as well as the Czech Embassy in Pristina. On completion and evaluation of the test run, the responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the fully commissioned WWTP has been, in autumn 2013, entrusted to the Regional Water Company of Prishtina ever since.

Following the successful implementation of the WWTP in Harilaci, the company TopolWater in cooperation with Ircon and in consortium with Project Plus successfully tendered a bid on another contract for the construction of wastewater treatment plant in Kosovo in spring 2014. It was the construction of a biological WWTP for the newly built Palace of Justice, located in the suburbs of the capital Pristina. The consortium won the international tender and in May 2014 it started the implementation of construction which was completed in October 2014, when it was passed to the recipient, the Kosovo Ministry of Justice. This ministry funded the entire project.
