
Opening of the Exhibition „The Czech Republic´s Twenty Years in NATO“ with the participation of senior guests

On March 14, 2019 the Head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Prishtina, Mr Pavel Bílek, inaugurated an exhibition of photographs entitled "Twenty Years of the Czech Republic in NATO", held at the National Library „Pjeter Bogdani“ in Pristina to mark the 20th anniversary of the Czech Republic's membership of NATO.
The opening of the exhibition “Twenty Years of the Czech Republic in NATO” had a very high level of participating guests. It was attended by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, Defense Minister Rustem Berisha, KFOR Commander General Lorenzo D´Addario, members of Parliament, members of the diplomatic corps and many other distinguished guests. The opening ceremony was also attended by a complete contingent of Czech soldiers in the KFOR mission.
The head of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Prishtina, Mr Pavel Bílek, in his ceremonial speech, emphasized the importance of the Czech Republic's membership of NATO and highly appreciated the professionalism and commitment of the Czech Armed Forces who serve in the difficult conditions of the KFOR mission in Kosovo.
The opening of the exhibition was followed by a reception.
