Common century – Exhibition in National Library in Pristina

On October 24, 2018 a photo exhibition “1968 and its personalities” in National Library in Pristina was opened. This exhibition was organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic and Liaison Office of the Slovak Republic on the occasion of 100th anniversary of foundation of Czechoslovakia – Statehood Day. The Czech Embassy presented collection of photographs relating to the year 1968 (authors Jitka Gelnarová and Marek Junek), Slovak Liaison Office exhibited a collection dedicated to Alexander Dubček.
The former Presidents Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga and Mr. Fatmir Sejdiu, then Minister of Kosovo Security Force, Mr. Rrustem Berisha, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Anton Berisha, Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mrs. Burbuqe Bakija-Deva, Kosovo Coordinator for Climate Changes, Mr. Mendim Rugova, Rector of Pristina Public University and Mr. Marjan Demaj were among the most prominent guests.
Exhibition in National Library in Pristina runs to November 7, 2018.
