It is a popular event for a management, conservation and development of forest and the aforestation represent one of the priorities of the Government in the field of the protection of environment. It is also very closely connected to the agriculture and forestry because the development of countryside is a principal challenge for governmental activities including the food security and alleviation of poverty. No wonder that such an event is being held in the presence of the Head of State, H.M. Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, who is accompanied by other prominent dignitaries, such as the President of the Senate, President of the National Assembly, Prime Minister and other members of the Government including Minister of Environment, and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The leadership of the particular province is not to be missed either.
