The motto of the Czech presidency is “V 4 Trust” (alternatively “We for trust”) which  signifies mutual trust. This motto encapsulates the quality, which we consider to be the most  important value added of the Visegrad cooperation: a remarkable level of trust founded on highly functional, close relationships and on a transparent exchange of opinions among members. As a result, the Visegrad Four continues to be the fundamental and key format of cooperation in Central Europe, especially in times when it is becoming more frequent to react ad hoc to the newly forming situation in EU and its neighbourhood.
