
Air Canada will launch direct flights from Toronto to Prague

Air Canada announced direct flights from Toronto to Prague. The flights will commence on May 29, 2016.
Ambassador Pavel Hrncir along with the Head Counsellor of Economic and Trade Section from the Czech Embassy in Ottawa Josef Dvoracek, on March 30, 2016 participated in Toronto Story's Building gala presentation event to mark the announcement of flights from Canada’s largest airline, Air Canada(AC) ( www.aircanada.ca ) from Toronto to Prague. The flights will commence on May 29, 2016. Air Canada Rouge will fly three times a week until September 28, 2016. At the end of summer, the first season will be evaluated. In his speech, Ambassador Pavel Hrncir recalled the importance of air service from Toronto to the heart of Europe. Last year the Czech Republic attracted more than 86 thousand Canadian tourists, a noticeable increase of more than 12% from the previous year. The total seat capacity of the aircrafts during this period amounts to almost 15 thousand seats. The event was organized by AC in cooperation with CzechTourism New York and travel agencies of Poland and Hungary. This summer AC also begins direct flights between Toronto, Warsaw and Budapest.
