30 Years of Czechia in the OECD - Global Cooperation in Times of Technological and Geopolitical Change

How to combine OECD expertise and business vision for long-term resilience and sustainable growth in the Czech Republic? Invitation to a joint event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the University of Economics in Prague to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Czech Republic's accession to the OECD.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE), cordially invites you to a panel discussion on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Czech Republic's membership in the OECD, which will take place on January 21, 2026 (2:30-5:00 p.m.) at the Academic Club of the University of Economics in Prague.

The event will offer a look back at three decades of mutual cooperation and open a debate on how current geo-economic shifts are shaping global trade relations and international rules. The digital and energy transitions, sustainability requirements, and changing geopolitical dynamics are fundamentally altering the environment in which public and private sector actors operate. The discussion will focus on finding ways to jointly seize the opportunities of the technological era to achieve resilient and sustainable growth.

More information, including the event program, can be found on the VŠE website in Prague.
