The call for the Summer School scholarships is here!

Date: 23 February 2024, Venue: The deadline to send the application is February 23, 2024.

Let's study the Czech language! In cooperation with the Department of the Czech language at the University of Delhi, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Delhi announces the Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2024 scholarship competition.

The scholarship is designed for international students, specialists (teachers, translators, interpreters) and academics in the field of Czech studies; however, they are open to all those interested in the Czech language, literature, history, and culture. The participants must be over 18 years of age.

The selected candidates will be informed about the personal interview taking place at the Czech Embassy in New Delhi. Those not to be contacted are not selected in the selection process.


The candidates have to submit the following documents:

1. Summer School of Slavonic Studies Application Form

2. Curriculum Vitae in Czech or English

3. copy of passport (the candidates who have applied for a passport recently may submit a copy of Aadhaar Card)

4. proof of their Czech language studies (a language certificate, student ID, etc.)


Scans of the required documents have to be submitted to the e-mail address newdelhi.studyinczechia@mzv.gov.cz by February 23, 2024. Write `LSSS 2024' as the subject of the e-mail.

Subsequently, the successful candidates must submit the original documents.

The scholarship includes:

- Accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

- Enrollment and tuition

- Trips and excursions

- Some Summer Schools also provide public transport tickets


The scholarship does not include:

- International transport costs (flight tickets)

- Insurance costs

- Visa processing costs
