The call for Summer School scholarships for 2026 is now open!

Dive into the world of Czech language and culture this summer!
In partnership with the Department of Czech Language at the University of Delhi, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Delhi is pleased to announce the 2026 Summer School of Slavonic Studies (SSSS) scholarship call.
Deadline: application must be received via email by February 22, 2026, no later than 23:59 pm
The scholarship is designed for international students, specialists (teachers, translators, interpreters), and academics in the field of Czech studies. However, it is also open to all those interested in the Czech language, literature, history, and culture. Participants must be over 18 years of age.
Candidates must submit the following documents:
1) Summer School of Slavonic Studies Application Form

2) Curriculum Vitae in Czech or English
3) Copy of passport (candidates who have recently applied for a passport may submit a copy of their Aadhaar Card)
4) Proof of their Czech language studies (a language certificate, student ID, etc.)
Scans of the required documents must be submitted to the email address newdelhi.studyinczechia@mzv.gov.cz by February 22, 2026, no later than 23:59 pm. Please write “SSSS 2026” in the subject of the email.
Selected candidates will be informed about the personal interview taking place at the Czech Embassy in New Delhi. Those not contacted are not selected in the selection process.
Subsequently, successful candidates will receive further information on how to proceed with their application.
The scholarship includes:
- Accommodation (provided in student dormitories)
- Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Enrollment and tuition
- Study materials
- Trips and excursions
- Some Summer Schools also provide public transport tickets
The scholarship does not include:
- International transport costs (flight tickets)
- Insurance costs
- Visa processing costs
