Citizens of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka and residents residing legally and continously for at least two years in the mentioned countries applying for  long-term residence permit - purpose of scientific research and their family members (i.e. wifes, children) travelling to the Czech Republic can only use the following e-mail address to make an appointment: newdelhi.researcher@mzv.gov.cz.

Applications will be accepted and processed chronologically. In one e-mail it is possible to ask for a slot for the main applicant (scientific researcher) together with their family members.

The applicant will receive an appointment only if the e-mail contains all necessary requirements.

The subject of the e-mail requesting an appointment must contain LONG-TERM PERMIT - PURPOSE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH or LONG-TERM RESIDENCE PERMIT - PURPOSE FAMILY REUNIFICATION WITH SCIENTIFIC RESEARCHER

The email must contain the following identification information about the applicant:

1. first name and surname
2. date of birth
3. passport number
4. copy of the residence biometric card of the scientific researcher (in case the scientific researcher stays in the Czech Republic) 
5. purpose of travel for long-term residence permit - purpose scientific research or family reunification with scientific researcher
6. phone number
7. e-mail
8. attachment- scan of the passport data page (in .pdf )
9. attachment- scan of the document proving the travel purpose (in .pdf format)

The appointment dates are final and unchangeable. Cancelled appointments cannot be replaced by other applicants. If the applicant cancels his/her appointment, new appointment must be arranged via e-mail by identical procedure.

There is no other way to make an appointment for submission of applications for long-term residence permits - purpose scientific research or family reunification with scientific researcher  and the Embassy will not respond to attempts which do not follow the above mentioned procedure.
