To protect yourself from visa fraud, the Embassy urgently cautions all applicants against frequent visa scams. Under no circumstances should you pay visa fees in advance. Be vigilant: always verify the authenticity of any communication by checking the sender's email ID against official Embassy addresses. Furthermore, we strongly advise you to check this official website, where you can find a section containing samples of fake documents. This resource is designed to help you identify and avoid fraudulent activities related to visa applications.
VISA FEE
The Embassy never requires payment of the visa fee in advance. The fee can only be paid on the premises of the Embassy (or VFS Global) during the visa interview.
EMAIL ID
Be aware that the only genuine email ID is @mzv.gov.cz. If you receive any communication on behalf of the Czech Embassy from any other email ID, it is most probably a fake.
