Working lunch with representatives of Indian aviation

On December 17th, 2015 the Czech Ambassador Milan Hovorka hosted a working lunch for businesses representing civil aviation sector of India to discuss the possibilities of mutual cooperation with their counterparts in the Czech Republic.
The lunch was organized as the follow-up of the "Air Cargo Summit" where the Czech Ambassador as a one of the key note speakers shared his perspective of how Czech based companies could participate in further development of civil aviation sector of India and thus contribute to implementation of a Draft Civil Aviation Policy recently prepared by the authorities.
It has seen a remarkable convergence of views regarding mutual beneficial cooperation of two countries companies in a number of areas such as increased regional connectivity facilitated by small aircrafts designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic, expansion and modernization of civil aviation infrastructure with the help of leading edge control, navigation and lightening Czech technologies, lack of direct air connection between the two countries, facilitation of procedures related to customs clearance and others.
Ambassador Hovorka was pleased to hear during the meeting that suggestions he made at the Summit were incorporated in recommendations regarding the Draft Civil Aviation Policy submitted by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India.
