Ambassador visited Chandigarh and Jalandhar

Ambassador of the Czech Republic Milan Hovorka paid a working visit to Chandigarh and Jalandhar on July 5th and July 6th, 2017 to foster bilateral relations between his country and Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.
During his stay in Chandigarh, the Ambassador called on Haryana Governor Hon´ble Prof. Kaptan Solanki and on Punjab Governor Hon´ble V. P. Singh Bandore who acts also as the administrator of Chandigarh.
He had also productive and inspiring meetings with Minister of Commerce & Industry of Haryana Hon'ble Vipul Goel and Minister of Finance, Planning & Employment Generation of Punjab Hon´ble Manpreet Singh Badal, as well as with representatives of regional offices of FIICI, CII and PHD.
The Ambassador officially inaugurated two new Visa Application Centres of the Czech Republic in Chandigarh and Jalandhar.
In Chandigarh, the occasion of the launch on July 5th, 2017 was graced with the presence of the Chandigarh´s Mayor Smt. Asha Kumari Jaswal. The centre is centrally locates at Elante Offices, Unit no. B, 209, 2nd floor, Office Block B, Plot no. 178A, Industrial & Business Park - Phase I, Chandigarh.
In Jalandhar, the centre, which is centrally located on the 3rd floor of Aman Plaza, Plot No. 310, Lajpat Nagar, Mahavir Marg, Nakodar Chowk, Jalandhar, was inaugurated also on July 5th, 2017 in the presence of Jalandhar´s Mayor Shri Sunil Jyoti.
After the official launch of these two Visa Application Centres operated in proud cooperation with VFS Global, travellers to the Czech Republic can apply for short term visa in 16 cities in India.
