Meeting at the Ministry of External Affairs of India

Diplomatic services of the Czech Republic and India remain in close contact even in these coronavirus thriving times with the view to searching the ways and means to promote friendly relations between the two countries. In this logic, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Milan Hovorka met with newly appointed Joint Secretary, Central Europe Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Mrs. Neeta Bhushan on July 14, 2020.

During the constructive and productive meeting, a number of issues related to multifaceted relations between the Czech Republic and India, including cooperation to fight COVID-19, institutional setting, high level visits, support for multilateralism, upcoming European Union - India Summit and people- to-people contacts, were discussed.

The representatives also considered the current state of Indo-Czech trade and economic relations and cooperation in the area of ​​research, development and innovations. 

Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Roman Masarik and Under Secretary of the Central Europe Division Ms. Manpreet Sohanpal were also present at the meeting.
