Czech Republic - India Consultations

On June 30, 2016, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for Security and Multilateral Issues Mr. Ivo Sramek held bilateral security and multilateral consultations in Delhi with Secretary (West) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India Ms. Sujata Mehta.

The Czech Republic-India consultations focused on contemporary security policy issues, cooperation in the United Nations system, multilateral export control regimes, terrorism, migration and mobility.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional issues regarding India´s and Czech Republic´s neighborhood and as well as on the current state and perspectives of European Union – India strategic partnership.
During the consultations, which saw a like-mindedness on most of discussed issues, both sides appreciated a thriving relationship between the Czech Republic and India and expressed their keenness to take them to even a higher level through high level political contacts.
