Cooperation Between India and the Czech Republic

University studies and postgraduate scholarships paid for by the European Commission are part of the cooperation between India and the Czech Republic, which is continuously supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Delhi.
In 2019, the Czech Republic was one of the 15 EU member states to which Indian university students went with the support of the European program of cooperation and mobility in higher education Erasmus Mundus, which is also intended for students and doctoral students from countries outside the European Union. Of these countries, India is the most active worldwide, with 134 students heading to one of the Member States of the European Union with the help of this EU scholarship. Similarly, the Czech Republic is also interesting for doctoral students placed in the positions of researchers. At present, researchers from India coming to collaborate on biotechnology and energy storage projects through the MSCA (Marie Curie Sklodowska Action) program.
