Schengen visa representation for passport holders of Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda

Based on the agreements on representation in issuance of Schengen visas, the passport or residence permit holders of Burundi, Tanzania and Uganda shall apply for Schengen visas for travel to the Czech Republic in their home countries. Please note that until 30 April 2025 passport or residence permit holders of Rwanda must apply only at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nairobi. From 1 May 2025 onwards, passport or residence permit holders of Rwanda will apply through the TLS visa centre in Kigali.
IMPORTANT - READ HERE:
Passport/residence permit holders of Rwanda (from 1 May 2025 onwards) all applicants shall submit their short-term (Schengen) visa applications only at the Embassy of Belgium in Nairobi which is representing the Czech Republic in Rwanda in issuance of Schengen visas through the TLS visa centre in Kigali.
Passport/residence permit holders of Rwanda (until 30 April 2025) all applicants must submit their short-term (Schengen) visa applications only at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nairobi due to a suspension of visa representation agreement in Rwanda.
Passport/residence permit holders of Burundi shall submit their short-term (Schengen) visa applications at the Embassy of Belgium in Bujumbura which is representing the Czech Republic in Burundi in issuance of Schengen visas. Applications shall be submitted through the visa application portal.
Passport/residence permit holders of Tanzania shall submit their short-term (Schengen) visa applications at the Embassy of France in Dar es Salaam which is representing the Czech Republic in Tanzania in issuance of Schengen visas through the TLS visa centre in Dar es Salaam.
Passport/residence permit holders of Uganda shall submit their short-term (Schengen) visa applications at the Embassy of France in Kampala, which is representing the Czech Republic in Uganda in issuance of Schengen visas.
