From 28 April to 9 May 2025, the 49th session of the Working Group of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), the UN intergovernmental mechanism that examines the human rights situation in member countries, will take place in Geneva.

The UN Human Rights Council today concluded its 58th session, which ran from 24 February to 4 April. Czechia returned to the HRC as a member state, a role it will hold for the next three years.
