Czechia provides water treatment plant to Sapian

The Embassy of the Czech Republic concluded a small scale project that included the production and installation of a mobile water treatment plant in the Municipality Of Sapian in Panay Island.
The complete automatic system produced in cooperation with the Czech companies, G-Servis and Ekomonitor, allows for the treatment of non-potable groundwater through a unique technology from the Czech Republic.The unveiling of the plant was conducted in the presence of Mayor IKE Biñas, Czech Embassy Trade Counsellor, Mr. Benjamin Ziga, company representatives, and local residents of Sapian.Through the project, the source now provides high-quality drinking water to the local municipality particularly to the Sapianos. Similarly, the project reduces ecological footprint in the area by eliminating the need for plastic water bottles within the shallow sea bays that constitute an important livelihood.
