Ambassador Bartuška will be visiting us as we mark the 37th anniversary of the fall of the communist regime. As he is not only a witness to these historic events, but also someone who played a significant role in shaping our country's first steps on its journey back to Europe and the Western democratic community, this meeting will provide an opportunity to reflect on the return of freedom and democracy to our homeland.

It will also, of course, be an opportunity to discuss current affairs and the recent developments in Czech-British relations.
