Invitation to the conference for expatriate associations in Prague

The Senate Commission on Compatriots Living Abroad established in the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic invites representatives of Czech expatriate associations to participate in a day-long biennial conference titled "Postal Voting, and What Next... The Diaspora is! A Partner of the Home Country" (Korespondenční volba, a co dál…Diaspora je! partnerem mateřského státu, which will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, in the meeting hall of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in the Waldstein Palace.
The conference will address the current issues and needs of expatriates, as well as the role of the Czech state regarding its diaspora. The goal of the conference is to contribute to strengthening the bond between the diaspora and the state and to create and develop an effective expatriate policy. The entire event will also be streamed online and interpreted into English.
