SUMMER SCHOOLS OF SLAVONIC STUDIES 2024

This article contains information on scholarships to attend the Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies, which offer intensive courses of Czech language and culture.

Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies (SSSS) are study courses organized by several public universities in the Czech Republic. Courses are held annually during the summer months (July, August, September). Their duration ranges from 3 to 4 weeks. The length of the course is determined by the organizing school.

Within the framework of their educational blocks, the individual organizing schools offer Czech language courses at various levels of proficiency, selective seminars focused on the Czech literature, culture and history, leisure activities including theater, music and dance performances, excursions, sightseeing tours, etc. 

The courses are designed for foreign students, specialists (teachers, translators, interpreters) and academics in the field of Czech studies and Slavonic studies who are over 18 years old. However, they are open to all those interested in the Czech language, literature, history, and culture.

 

If you are interested, fill in the application form and send the printed original to the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Manchester (4 Brindley Road, Manchester M16 9HQ) no later than March 15, 2024.
