Series of lectures on the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution

Journalist and musician Jan Macháček shared his memories of the Velvet Revolution at universities in North Britain.
The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Manchester has prepared a series of lectures and discussions with the commentator, university educationalist and musician Jan Macháček as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. He held discussions with students and fellow citizens at universities in Manchester, Sheffield, and Glasgow from 4th to 6th November. Over a hundred guests attended.
This series of lectures took place with the support of the University of Manchester Czech and Slovak Society, Czech and Slovak Society in Sheffield and Glasgow Slovak & Czech Society.
