Team Europe Initiative
Team Europe represents a unified approach by the European Union (EU) and its Member States to support climate action and green partnerships, aiming for sustainable recovery, growth, and decent jobs in Zambia.
Czech Aid in Zambia in 2023 translated the Team Europe approach into a key European programme Green Partnership and Investment Programme along the Agriculture, Forestry, Biodiversity, Water, and Climate Nexus. The Green Nexus Programme is designed to promote and facilitate investments in green recovery and sustainable growth, aiming at decent job creation and skills development. Czechia is participating alongside Germany, France, Sweden, and the United Nations represented by
World Food Programme (WFP).
Under this initiative, Czech Aid leads the project called Sustainable Landscape through Integrated Management (SLIM) and contributes to the Forest Partnership between the European Union and Zambia.
