Los Angeles commemorates the 2nd anniversary of the Russian aggression towards Ukraine.

Los Angeles commemorated the second anniversary of the widespread Russian aggression against Ukraine appropriately at the iconic Hollywood Chinese Theatre with a screening of the documentary "A Rising Fury". The film, which depicts the experiences of several participants in the Maidan Revolution of Dignity from 2013 to 2022 and their involvement in resisting the "orderly" dispersal of peaceful demonstrations, as well as the hybrid war staged by Russia as a "struggle for self-determination of Donbas", up to the current open conflict, was introduced by its director, Lesya Kalynska, alongside three-time Oscar winner Mark J. Harris.

In addition to this event, organized by the Consulate General of Ukraine on February 22, 2024, to commemorate the anniversary of the first day of Russian aggression, a demonstration was held on February 24, 2024, in front of Los Angeles City Hall. This demonstration was organized by the Stand with Ukraine foundation, with which the CG Los Angeles closely collaborates. Hundreds of participants with banners urging the US government for greater military and political support for Ukraine on behalf of the EU were addressed by a representative of the Consulate General of Belgium. The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles participated in both of these events. Simultaneously, a demonstrative car convoy drove across the city.
