2019 BAFTA Student Film Awards with Czech animation film SPOLU SAMI/APART

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles is delighted to invite you to the 2019 BAFTA Student Film Awards on Tuesday, July 9th, 6 PM - 11:30 PM at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage. Come to support a Czech finalist, FAMU school graduate Diana Cam Van Nguyen, who will present in person her latest animated short film APART (Spolu sami, 2018).

ABOUT THE FILM: APART/SPOLU SAMI is about life after the loss of a loved one deals with a difficult topic, using techniques of both live action and hand-painted animated film. Real-life experiences of the narrators are combined with animated sequences reconstructing painful situations, looking into the thoughts of three young people prematurely exposed to death.
