The Czech Consulate in LA supported the event commemorating the first anniversary of the war in Ukraine

As the world marked the first anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the #365daysofdefendingfreedom rally and march, organized by @swufoundation, served as a powerful demonstration of solidarity in this sacrificial fight for the universal values of freedom and democracy. The event occurred at the Los Angeles City Hall. It was a clarion call to the international community to support Ukraine in its prolonged and devastating struggle against Russian aggression and its ruthless hybrid war. Speeches were delivered by Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager -Dove and representatives of the Consulates General of the Czech Republic, Poland, and Lithuania in Los Angeles. Despite a raging storm, we came together to express our unwavering support for Ukraine, standing shoulder to shoulder with the brave Ukrainian people in our shared pursuit of justice and liberty.
