The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles in cooperation with the Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles is proud to recommend concerts presented by Salastina Society on February 15 and 16.
Main Series No. 3: Dvořák’s Piano Quintet
Power, drama, tenderness, nostalgia, rusticity, patriotism… What is it about Dvořák that’s so compelling and familiar? What does it mean to be a “nationalist” composer? Brian explores all that and more as Salastina performs.
