USPS revealed new stamp designs with former USA Ambassador to Czechoslovakia, Shirley Temple Black

On April 18, 2016 the United States Postal Services solemnly introduced new Forever Stamp commemorating one of the most popular child stars of all time and distinquised diplomat Shirley Temple, who served as a U. S. ambassador to Czechoslovakia in 1989.
The unveiling was held at the Geffen Playhouse in Westwood, Los Angeles in presence of Cheryl Boone Isaacs, the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, His Excellency Pavol Šepel'ák, Consul General of th Czech Republic in Los Angeles, who send greetings from Minister of Foreign Affairs Lubomír Zaorálek during his opening remarks.
The Honorable Norman Eisen, former United States Ambassador to the Czech Republic, who was also present at the ceremony, delivered letter from US President Barack Obama that stressed the importance of Shirley Temple Black during the Great Depression when she embodied hope for the whole nation.
