At the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Commons, Mr Lindsay Hoyle, Mr Havlíček paid a working visit to London on 20–21 May.

During his visit, he met with members of parliament and ministers from the ruling party, as well as members of the Conservative Party, the chairmen of the Confederation of British Industry and the MakeUK Manufacturers' Association, and senior management from Rolls-Royce SMR.

All of the meetings confirmed the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as their close alignment on key issues related to Ukraine, NATO, the EU, trade, energy and investments.

Mr Havlíček also engaged in debate with successful Czech entrepreneurs and managers, and attended an exhibition showcasing Czech companies specialising in interior design. This included the opening of the Design Hub-Atelier Bohemia.
