The event paid tribute both to Belsky and to his sculptor wife Irena Sedlecka, who died in August 2020. The speakers of the event were Art historian and museum consultant Peter Cannon-Brookes, author of the book Czech Sculpture, 1800-1938, who knew both sculptors personally, and Nicola Baird, Research Officer at the Ben Uri Research Unit (BURU) and curator of its 2019 exhibition Czech Routes to Britain.
