On October 6, the Czech Prime Minister, Petr Fiala, welcomed British Prime Minister Liz Truss at his residence Kramářova villa in Prague.
The meeting preceded the first-ever meeting of the European Political Community at Prague Castle, attended by 44 leaders of European countries, including Prime Minister Truss.
The Prime Ministers talked about the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom in the fields of defense and energy, as well as cooperation between the United Kingdom and the EU. From the beginning, both countries have clearly supported Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. The two politicians agreed that it is necessary to persist in the support, and they also discussed the options of further military support.
