Memorial in Leamington Spa

On Saturday 27 October 2018, a memorial act was held at the Czechoslovak Memorial Fountainin Leamington Spa.
The ceremony was organised to commemorate the Czechoslovak paratroopers who assassinated the Nazi Reich Protector, Reinhard Heydrich, in Prague in 1942, to mark 50 years after the Fountain´s unveiling and also to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia in 1918.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic was represented by Deputy Ambassador Jan Brunner and Defence Attaché Col. Jiří Niedoba.
We would like to thank the Friends of Czechoslovak Memorial Fountain for organising the event and everyone who took part.
